The ‘she’ in question…
Hello world, I’m Bre’Auna but “Bre” is also fine. Welcome to my blog dedicated to sharing things I’ve learned and love as I figure out this new stage of life.
The name ‘She Was Here’ was born out of the four planning stages before the blog’s actual creation. The first stage came from the intent to make this a travel blog or digital diary while I taught English in South Korea. Obviously plans changed.
The second stage was an evolution from solely focusing on South Korea to my travels in general. Travel and cultural study are two of the many things that bring me joy, from international excursions to weekend road trip adventures. I love to be on the move and I wanted to find a way to meaningfully document those adventures. Once again, plans changed.
Stage three erupted out of an existential, quarter life crisis and solidified this blog as “niche-less”. Only in my twenties I can hardly call myself an expert, even in the things I love and dedicate hours of practice and research into mastering. But I can always share what I do know and have learned. Therefore, ‘She Was Here’ serves as an archive to the lessons that have impacted me, be it worldview or beauty routines.
The fourth stage or evolution of this blog is yet to be determined but I assume you’re along for the ride as well.
