What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?
I definitely have James Clear to thank for conditioning me to treat my health and well-being routines as a collection of habits.
For example daily exercise doesn’t feel like a chore but more so something I do on autopilot. Be it a morning gym session, practicing with my home pole when I need a break from working, or “running an errand” to get my steps in. If I don’t feed this habit I have difficulty focusing and regulating my moods— especially my anxiety.
The same principle applies to my beauty routines and eating habits. I have a hard time settling to bed if I don’t do my shower and skincare routine. Or I feel out of whack if I don’t have at least one smoothie for the day.
